Abstract：An old male patient was admitted into the hospital due to acute posterior circulation
infarction and was identified to have bilateral vertebral artery and basilar artery stenosis. The patient suffered
from recurrent posterior circulation TIA attack under strict dual antiplatelet treatment and underwent stent
placement. In the procedure, the blood flow of priority left vertebral artery was recovered first, and balloon
expansion was used to handle the basilar artery stenosis through right vertebral artery, followed by right
vertebral artery stenting. The patient had no more posterior circulation TIA attack or infarction after the
